KEYSMy point was that if they are sleeping together, she can't just say "we was not in a relationship" without admitting that point when Tory claims they were, as it's easy for either party to feel it is a relationship when s***is involved. So it's reasonable to suspect the motives for why she wouldn't be forthright about that.
It also to be clear, doesn't make the shooting in anyway justified if they was.

this makes much more sense to me than what you initially wrote. you're talking about feelings and someone's perception differing from another.
If it can be proven that they were sleeping together, I hope that at-least lets people see Megan is being deceitful and spinning a narrative that unlikely reflects reality, and paints all he previous actions as likely coming from a place of dishonesty.
Frankly, I think Megan words are specifically worded to ignore the fact that if you was sleeping together, you was in a relationship.
specifically these parts were odd to me because A) you can absolutely sleep with someone and not be in a relationship with them. they both could've been sleeping with multiple people who the hell knows. and B) Megan omitting details about them sexually may seem suspect but only because Tory got his story out first. over like 15 tracks lol.
now if Megan says they weren't committed but Tory is talking about all the different ways they were "in love", why is Megan automatically the deceitful one? ask yourself that. again i'm not here to discuss this and this will be my first and only long post cause i thought the relationship comment was silly lol

Truthfully, I was shocked that I ended up in that place," says Megan about the night that Tory allegedly shot her. "My initial silence about what happened was out of fear for myself and my friends. Even as a victim, I have been met with skepticism and judgment. The way people have publicly questioned and debated whether I played a role in my own violent assault proves that my fears about discussing what happened were, unfortunately, warranted."
She continues by reflecting on her own experience, relating to the countless women, and especially Black women, who have suffered abuse at the hands of men.
"After a lot of self-reflection on that incident, I’ve realized that violence against women is not always connected to being in a relationship. Instead, it happens because too many men treat all women as objects, which helps them to justify inflicting abuse against us when we choose to exercise our own free will," writes Megan.
She explains that we place too much value on how others view us, communicating that Black women have it much worse than anybody else in America.
"The issue is even more intense for Black women, who struggle against stereotypes and are seen as angry or threatening when we try to stand up for ourselves and our sisters," says Meg. "There’s not much room for passionate advocacy if you are a Black woman."
