Tory's defense is gonna point holes in her entire story and she loses credibility, which makes it easier to free Tory of the charges.
The leaked messages and voicemails are good evidence by Meg's team but Tory just apologizes. He doesn't reference the shooting.
Tory's team has already prepared the defense that he was apologizing for f***ing both of them, not the shooting.
All the Tory's team needs to do is blow holes in Meg's story and convince the jury he didnt actually pull the trigger.
