SilasRecklessly discharging a firearm is pretty serious. You can kill someone from doing that. California, in particular, has strict laws about that.
This was a felony charge because so many shots were fired and that charge alone carries up to 3 years.
If it was just a misdemeanor, he would still face up to a year in prison.
He has two other guilty charges. One of them being assault with a semiautomatic firearm. That's where most of the time comes from. You can face up to 12 years for that.
