Nobody’s saying the case is over, niggas is saying that the evidence does not look good at all for Tory which it doesn’t.

Let’s be f***in real here if this situation didn’t involve these two parties and y’all heard about the screenshots, leaked texts and all that s*** y’all would be like “yeah that nigga most likely did that s***”

But since it involves Meg and Tory and the public discourse has been insufferable since the news first leaked, niggas wanna act dense.

Again I’m waiting till more info comes out but it is not far fetched to say that the evidence presented favors Megs side at the moment

This entire case has helped her because she was seen as a victim and this garners sympathy.

This sympathy has allowed her to win numerous awards and get alot of mainstream attention she wouldn't have gotten.

I'm not saying she planned this but all of this definitely benefited her career (whether Tory actually shot her or not).

female rappers generally sell really poorly, I don't think it's out the question to think she'd be selling 20k, 30k, 40k without this drama at all

I dont think this has really helped her career at all.

It feels like it has because her and Roc Nation have centered it in her career for the last like 2 years.

But if this never happened, she would occupy a similar space as Cardi. A female rapper who can actually rap and is well liked within the industry enough to consistently get features.
