    POOM POOM DOOM

Mike G and Pyramid Vitra are probably the only two members that don't have any thing going on with their lives/didn't turn their affiliation into something lucrative.

Relatively speaking everyone else has go on to make something of themselves, with varying degrees of success.

hal wasn't around OF enough to have their success significantly benefit him
plus he was signed to stones throw at one point he isn't doing bad

  • I knew hodgy was second best rapper in OF when he dropped that 65 song.. S*** was wild

If we're being real La Bonita destroyed all the hype they had and they never recovered from it afterwards, dropped their worst single at the most crucial moment

    hodgy’s last verse though

Hodgy verse alright beat just too annoying and opening their first single on a major label with a left brain verse was a bad choice

  • Mar 9, 2020

i remember that video of tyler making a beat while hodgy was rolling up and that pretty much explains their career trajectory

  • Ima say this. Besides Tyler, Earl, Syd & Frank. None of them really had that IT-factor and just came off as predicable weed rappers with odd production (no pun intended). They all are living good now. Mike G is a Chopped & Screwed DJ, Left Brain still makes music (gets a few thousand streams). Idk where Domo is. He fell in to the shadows after Red Corrolla (good album, even had Brockhampton production& Art direction)

La Bonita went platinum in Tucson

  • There is a very clear divide between the weed rappers and the rappers who wanted to be musicians. The collective itself with the young fan base could sustain both different types of audiences. Tyler slowly moving away was what drove it all apart because he had the talent to do so

What really did OF in, aside from what was said ITT, was the whole “OF ONLY” s***. Mfs would barely work with other rappers until Tyler decided to not do that anymore. Domo doing No Idols is something Hodgy should have thought to do.

Hodgy dropped Untitled EP with Alchemist and Flying Lotus production before No Idols
