2021 has been the year of generic ass hip hop music. How many songs can use the same hi-hat/clap with a guitar/flute/piano sample and the same regurgitation on top.

So you're telling me all these fast food trap albums have been good? I don't think there's anything special about Baby, Gunna, Migos (at least not anymore), Uzi, the femenine vampire,...

You like Dababy, was Blame It On Baby good? I understand dude is funny like rap used to be (Busta, Em, Luda, Missy) but a lot of these guys that are supposed to be the goats now put a lot of generic trash out. They drop a long album to get more streams and fans eat it just cause we're still in the trap wave.

I listened to Polo's album and I only liked the tracks that were already out. And that Durk tape with Baby didn't feel special at all. Just like Uzi's tape with Future. And I also didn't like Culture 2 or 3 at all.

They clearly have been good if these artists continue to remain relevant 3-5 years later. Most rappers don't even survive that long.

Baby has only gotten bigger and better since he first came out
I admit I don't fw Gunna like that but the talent is clearly there
Migos is arguably on the Mount Rushmore of rap groups of all-time
Uzi doesn't really have missteps everyone fully agrees on
Idk what vampire you talking about.

There’s been a few average to good albums this year. Y’all listen to the same few rappers and complain because your music library ain’t deep enough. I’ve said 100 times the standard blame it on baby was trash but the deluxe had a few gems.

What make 6ix9ine so special? You downplay rap unless it’s 6ix9ine, Em or old 50 cent/g unit or some pop rap s***. You more of a pop fan that like rap part time and barely at that.

You just talking about these weak ass years. I've been a fan of a lot of rappers and supported their albums.

Last rap projects I liked were 4:44, Kings disease, KSG, Ye, Scorpion (just the first CD), MTBMB, Shoot for the stars, ain for the moon, Legends never die, ?, Kamikaze, Culture 1, Astro, Drip Harder, FUTURE, Pretty Girls Like Trap Music.

And I've also said that I liked some songs by Von. I think he was way better than Durk or Keef.

I don't hate everything that drops, it's just the new generation being pretty generic and boring except for a few moments.

I like a few songs on LIR2, but that s*** was repetitive as f***, just like EA. Even he admitted that s*** was weak. The tape with Future was also whack.

I don't hate the guy. It's just that his music is always so repetitive that it gets annoying.

The femenine vampire is just annoying. That feature on Drake's last mid project was horrible and ruined the song.

When did Uzi ever say LIR2 was weak? His music may be repetitive esp when it comes to the double album but how is he not unique? I didn't say anything about carti at all
