Also @Danhust why you so mad at someone being feminine*?

It's just a way of describing him. But the feminization of men in rap is obvious tho. Just look at ex rapper MGK, Little Pimp, the vampire, Kid Cudi, Yachty. And I'm probably forgetting someone.

It's self explanatory if you've been seeing recent pics of them.

Lmaoo it’s aggrevating when people don’t wanna acknowledge that this has been a thing for the past ten years whether you feel like it’s good bad or indifferent to it

Why is the most influential subculture to the warrior class of black youth the guinea pig for that type of s***

No problem with alternative lifestyles but it can be acknowledged that hip hop has gotten more effeminate

Black men who are gonna raise kids that are probably gonna be significantly influenced by hip hop/rap by the time they reach adolescence

And if Carti and Uzi are the tame versions….lol

What are you talking about? this isn't new nor is it something worth mentioning. Its just because of raps image in the 90s, so rappers couldn't do s*** like that but look at the rockstars from 70s wearing makeup and wigs and s***. Its not a new thing at all.

He mentioned MGK so I don't think thats the case with him but even if it was what negative influence does Uzi wearing a womans shirt have on your kids life?

Carti poking his lips out and damn near twerking on stage or Uzi putting on the sassy act doing the shoulder s*** is not something they got from the 70’s or even Busta and Andre like someone is inevitably Gonna bring up

Yeah but thats on the rappers and or team, n half these dudes genuinely seem like they into that s*** like trippie n uzi. Its mainly their pop punk inspo & love. A lot of these niggas music is pop punk rap, it goes beyond just the clothes.

You can find it weird or not like it yeah, but letting it bother you so much & constantly is also weird imo.

A lot of it is what they grew up on or envied tbh.

Btw i dont like most of the "pop punk rappers" either.

But its because of their music, i hate actual pop punk as well, & a lot of that style of Rap attitude n clothing stems from that too.

Before we strawman simply acknowledging it by asking a question like that I think it’s more appropriate to ask WHY hip hop has undergone those changes under the past ten years

But to answer your question rap is very influential to black youth and the same way I wanted red pants or two lines in my haircut as a jit because of Wayne and Kanye, you may have kids subtly/subconsciously acting feminine because that’s the “wave”

It affects grown men so how wouldn’t it affect kids

Next question of course is “what’s wrong with that” lol

music in general is just meh

I takes longer to find great among all the trash. That’s fine not everyone can be great. You gotta lot of McDonald’s but only a few 5 stars in the rap game. Sometimes McDonald’s is good tho...

I have that same sentiment op is talking about when it comes to pop and house music....same s*** different day

That era had stuff like dying their hair or painting their nails. Rappers leave their house now with Cardi or RosalĂa nails. And then wear their wife's sunday dress on SNL.

MGK is f***ing Megan Fox, and Playboi Carti is f***ing Iggy Azalea while your toxic masculinity headass still jacks off into a sock sooooooo
