Twitter user Nitroid spotted that inspecting the Metal Gear Solid timeline page on the official Metal Gear Solid website reveals placeholder buttons for Metal Gear Solid 4, Metal Gear Solid 5, and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker.

IGN understands this lineup for Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2 is accurate and has asked Konami for comment.

Of course you got the Legacy Collection for $20 in 2015 dude. It was in 2015 lol. Just like how some people will get this for $20-30 on the Steam Summer sale next year. Legacy when it first came out was most likely $50.
This is a day 1 purchase for me because all 3 of those games are worth $20 each and adding in all four of the 8-bit games is a pretty solid deal.

I wonder if they’ll ever relist the HD collection on Xbox, if I remember right they took them down because of some copyright issues with the historical footage. Assuming the new release fixes/replaces it, it’d be weird to not have old HD collection go back up for sale

Having the HD collection available potentially interferes with their sales of these upcoming collections, so I don't think they'll put them back up. It's like what Rockstar did with the GTA games when that Trilogy collection dropped
