We've got some single player gems lately but gaming is definitely not the best it's ever been Too many money hungry and exploitive practices in the industry right now. A fighting game like DBZ Sparking Zero isn't even dropping with proper local multiplayer. That's nuts, imagine Budokai Tenkaichi games were single player only. So much s*** going on that would not fly in past eras

Hard to tell if it’s tied exclusively to the OG camera/controls or not though.

Hopefully it’s just something you can turn on or off at will in the display menu (don’t know why it wouldn’t be).

But honestly I feel like the game might be best experienced with fixed camera because that was the original design intent

Remember that this company is lazy and cheap af to even rerecord the dialogue for this remake and decided to reuse the same audio files from MGS3 yikes

Not to mention everyone in the cast is either 20 years older or dead, so they would sound different or just be completely different which would ruin the whole vibe

Gonna be completely real. It doesn’t really matter if Delta is going to completely reconstruct MGS3 to a whole new experience, or if literally be the same game with prettier graphics. People are going to complain no matter what.

I’ve said it countless times, but the definition of “remake” straight up doesn’t matter anymore. Resident Evil 2, Dead Space, Persona 3 Reload, The Last of Us Part 1, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, Yakuza Kiwami, Mafia Definitive Edition are all remakes that do completely different things from one another that “break” the remake definition. Some are overhauls, some are sequels, and some are actual the same experience 1:1. I think Delta is going to be that 1:1 experience, which is gonna upset some people (understandably so, but also…it’s MGS3, so )

Damned if you do damned if you don’t situation. A lot of the turmoil behind Delta & Silent Hill 2 is definitely Konami’s fault, but it be ignorant to say that the gaming industry obsession with “remakes” and the changing of the definition of it opens the door to a lot of tomfoolery. Will we end up looking at this as the definitive way to play MGS3? Or will it be an alternate way to enjoy the experience?

I think it’ll end up being like Twin Snakes. Hardcore fans will complain about and prefer the original, but it’ll be a good accessible game for a lot of new players.

MGS5 was the best one and Venom Snake is cooler than Big Boss

MGS V Ground Zeroes + Phantom Pain is definitely the best one in my opinion as well

10 years later the games could come out today and not look aged at all
