Once they started including nanomachines into everything it started getting confusing
I started a replay today after not playing it since I finished it on release, and it's crazy how much more rich even just the first few hours are when you know the whole journey. So many lines of dialogue or even shot compositions take on a new meaning if you play the game familiar with its story. It really is brilliant, just not in a way that feels satisfying as you finish up that initial playthrough. MGSV veers closer to an Ueda game than any other Kojima game as it uses its structure and mechanics to hammer home its themes and more subtle plot constructions, more than the outward narrative itself.
Amazing gameplay but absolute TRASH story, will never forgive Konami for f***ing over Kojima by rushing this game and cancelling Silent Hills
Mgs4 the most mgs game of all mgs games game is a classic and I enjoy that 100x more than mgs5
MGS 4 was complete fan service and I loved everything about it If the series ended with MGS 4 I wouldn't have had any issues with that and the series would have gone 10/10 on every game. Too bad MGS V f***ed all that up.
It's an MGS. Not sure how it compares to other titles yet but it is certainly an EXCELLENT game.
Frustrating at times but excellent nonetheless.
Playing this right now. It's a good ass game.
I also didn't know what it was about. But the description made it sound boring, so I held off on it for a long time. I'm glad I finally gave it a chance
I've been grinding it lately too and man Im addicted now. Straight up the gameplay is amazing but it feeds into the overall story of creating the war economy that pretty much involves the plan of zero all along
Wish 1-4 were easier to play. Never got to play those
Those being difficult and quirky is what made them unique tbh there are people who say this game too easy cause most missions aren't linear enough where it's too tense but it honestly is what you make it

I mean not really, they started using nanomachines once solid snake was introduced, himself and most soldiers had them to control and make them optimal and more like all the Snakes. Well in mgs4 nanomachines along with A.I was controlling the entire war economy and how things played out. Ocelot tricked snake into coming after him to just take down the whole system (canon or not metal gear rising meant nanomachines came back)

Didn't mean difficult as in the actual game
I mean going back and playing them in 2020 is hard unless you still got a PS3
