Because Rocky is really likeable in the Creed movies. He always has something wise to say and he always provided guidance and direction for Creed.
Also how he don’t show up to Creed’s mother funeral??
Tbf they didn’t really show it that in depth so maybe he was there inside?
I do wonder what little wise ass remarks Rocky would say about Dame lol
“This guy wants to be champ? He’s like the same age as me”
I guess lol. Makes the film stronger imo that it’s as good as it was without him needing to make an appearance.
It definitely was a good way to prove the film doesn’t need to rely on Rocky anymore to stand on its own.
It’s just a nostalgia thing, everyone misses Rocky and this is our first time experiencing a film from the franchise without Rocky.

That’s fair, it didn’t need him for sure. Other characters like Duke and his mom stepped in to be that guidance for him.
I just miss Sly that’s all

Facts. Ima huge wood Harris fan too so good to see he gets more to do unlike Creed 1
Think this would benefit from like a 3+ hour directors cut. Give us more time with Dame, more build up leading to his clash with Creed. More time fleshing out Creed’s relationship with his mom and Dame in his youth.

yea I agree, this should've been at least a 2.5 hour saga where Dame slowly unravels into the uncontrollable villain.
I thoroughly enjoyed this. that being said I dont think we spent enough time with Damian to really understand him, majors felt underused
not sure if 2 or 3 is better but i'm leaning towards 2, i'll have to watch again. the first creed is a classic no question, I don't think the sequels have matched the emotion of the first
This a good movie with great moments, and it'd definitely benefit if it had an extended runtime.
Excuse me? You misogynistic?
I just want more Creed dammit, did Rocky give it up after Rocky 3?! NO
lowkey thought the beginning of the movie was some soft p***
(the very first 1 minute)
edit: im watching an pirated version recorded from an indian theater (don't do this, support the movie the actors)
Michael b Jordan’s best role is still chronicle
always thought of this cause he seems like the "never too unpredictable, inoffensive person everyone gets along with" type and he played class president in that film so it fit him like a glove

Who him gon fight next? Plus all that talk of him being old and washed now.
Do we think any storylines will be continued with Dame in the future?

I mean if Rocky could go till his 60s in Rocky Balboa then so can Creed..
There’s always clubber lang’s hypothetical son
