Gyllenhaal, Abdul-Mateen, and Gonzalez all do great in the three main roles, and it gets shockingly emotional at parts.
The trailers made it look like a dogshit run of the mill action movie but I’d say it’s worth a watch, not a bad film at all. Solid 7/10.

Lmao I can’t believe I watched this before Everything everywhere all at once (not by choice)
I mean it’s an enjoyable film I guess. The chase scenes and stuff was cool, definitely a Michael Bay film.
But holy s*** was the dialogue horrendous and I usually don’t use that word. But yea so many on the nose dialogue, so much repeated exposition, cliche ass lines “you go left I go right” yeah this movie wouldn’t be as bad if they fixed the dialogue.

smh how the cop gonna get shot up by Yahya, nearly dies, doesn’t have no type of conversation with him, and then in the end tell the other cops “he saved me” :what: That s\*\*\* was so f\*\*\*in cheesy and unrealistic just to make the audience go “awww he’s getting a second chance”
