nothing MJ did was abusive man tf u on lmao

treating kids like they're on ur level, caring for them, showing them love they might not have received otherwise, letting them have fun, n fulfilling their wildest dreams isn't exactly abuse. u gotta understand none of this was predatory or sexual or whatever. maybe that's hard to understand or believe but it's true. MJ loved those kids the same way u love ur lil cousins. u dont wanna f*** ur lil cousins i assume😳

    yea
i think by today's standards it's all gonna look weird regardless. but also between the 80s/90s and now parents be overboard with the helicoptering these kids aint outside at all they on Roblox For iPad and bein envious of the 1-2 friends they got who can have sleepovers whose parents are considered the scum of the earth by all the other parents dis is smthn i think is just gonna get more indecipherable with time sadly. ykno the ppl got their reasons n i think their worries make sense, i just don't think mj was ever doin any of the s*** that ppl worried bout

most of the talk is just "well, that's weird isn't it obvious??" but that's just the sheltering talking. ppl got it in their mind that modern-day-red-flag = bad stuff is 100% guaranteed to be happening. but ppl makin their red flags so broad yet strict nowadays that they can't even understand why a sleepover Might Not lead to their child being abused. there's no other possibilities. we're talkin bout kids, so i can understand the protectiveness. but i also think it just makes these convos hard bc u can't even state a situation w/o the response just being "this situation = this result. always."

i highly doubt MJ was aware of how f***ed the robert situation was when he chose to work with him

he reached out to r kelly's team to work around '94. u gotta understand back then people weren't aware that aaliyah was a lil kid, actually she claimed she was 18 on the marriage license. At this point in time, R Kelly wasn't a known pedo, people only knew him as a very talented musical artist, and believe it or not MJ liked working with talented people.

    also multiple times over? foh

yes multiple times. RK wrote Cry on the Invincible album, YEARS after the Aaliyah scandal. the industry was well-aware of how old that girl was. her age was kept hidden/mysterious at first but shortly after it was widely known that she was a teenage girl. People just didn’t care including MJ who you swore had so much smoke for pedos

talking bout some FOH 😂 you getting hella mad at me for asking reasonable questions about a man you didn’t even know. the disease that is standom strikes again lol

okay fine it's not good that mj worked w r kelly. i dont like that he did that.

still man MJ def hated pedos

r kelly is an amazing songwriter so i dont blame mike for using r kellys talents but i have a strong feeling that was a strictly business relationship

I used to think MJ was guilty until I actually started reading the facts of the cases and allegations. Now I think he’s innocent and was a very naive and deeply troubled guy who was incapable of seeing why befriending children was suspicious and how it could easily be taken advantage of by people who wanted to leverage it against him. I don’t say that lightly bc they are serious allegations.

There are some very strong resources out there if you care to look. But for a pedophile, one who is documented as being close to 1000s of children, it would be so uncharacteristic to turn off and on those urges and only prey on 5. Any criminal psychologist would agree on that. But there are more concrete proofs in each case that at the very least make the claims very dubious and hard to trust.

I really feel bad for him.

Pretty much my feelings on MJ as well.
He had a LOT of enemies in the industry and they did their best to ruin his image.
He was not a normal person,

Michael's bed was the size of the state of texas y'all really thinking that this is some single bed in a spare bedroom.

But that's besides the point because nothing went down.

saying that a child has as much capacity as an adult to decide who they get in bed with is indeed pedo logic, meaning it is the type of logic used by pedos to justify their behavior and the logic that pedo enablers use to excuse it as well

“The kid wanted it” is never a justification for inappropriate behavior

It also sets a terrible example for the kid going forward thinking its ok with "anyone" & makes them open to more possibilities.

Part of the reason why you stop breast feeding at a certain age with a child or them being in your bed. Boundaries, maturity & independence.

Regardless of MJ not touching them, it is weird. And kids literally dont know better. They are not adults (literally their brain isnt even 3 quarters developed yet lol nevermind everything else) & pretending they are opens up so many dangerous situations.

Yeah he probably didnt touch them, yeah other adults probably were trying to extort him after the first initial cases/controversy.

But its still weird, and definitely shouldnt be normalized.

People knew how old Aaliyah was lol it was public. Everyone as in fans & industry knew she was a teen it was even part of people marveling her for being so young but so talented. She only died at 22 too.

The middle aged person that did the licensing didnt know & Kelly also paid off some of the people there as well to let it happen. No one even knew he faked the licensing for years, they thought it was an agreement with the parents & a bunch of other excuses he came up with n shot down.
