Manhunter over Heat is way crazier

I can at least have a discussion about it though. Collateral and Thief are great but there’s no discussion there.

I'd rather watch Thief or Mohicans most days

The Insider the only one of his that touches Heat imo.

Thief is plain better to me, James F***in Caan collateral is down to preference

This type of acting…is an acquired taste.,there are more nuanced ways to play an unhinged character

Yeah I get what you’re saying, Pacino was great in the quieter scenes in this movie w his wife or in the diner scene, but I think he was acting like a clown in this scene, the scene were he screams something like ‘great ass’ and ‘who who are you an owl’ and some other ones.

Still his best imo

But everything in that list is a 4.5/5 for me except Manhunter

I still haven't seen the whole film fam haha. I've caught 20-30 mins of it when it was on TV years ago, but that's it.

I got it on blu a couple years back but just havent gotten around to it

It went through a relatively popular reappraisal several years ago and it's tends to get the respect it deserves nowadays (outside of most pop journalism i mean)

I was pretty staggered by the density on rewatch putting it over Heat as well probably
