i’ve been called the same with “sand” in front of it a few times. i was very confused the first time because i wasn’t even aware that was a thing people said. and when i looked it up, i was even more surprised because it seemed to be a really outdated term. but i guess post-9/11 amerikkka brought it back.

I don't expect a disabled person to apologize every time they're disabled. I can empathize with the hurt MBJ and Delroy felt, as I've intentionally been called slurs, but I can also empathize with John suffering from an embarassing disability that I don't think he should constantly have to apologize for, as he's just trying to exist.

This I can kind of agree with, as it's unfortuante to happen on such a public stage. But it's also like if he has to apologize for his disability here, where does it end?
