Phil Spencer has now said they will be exclusive on a 'case by case basis'. I'm certain games like Fallout and Elder Scrolls will be on Playstation and Switch as they make way too much money on those platforms.

They will probably end up developing new games/IPs exclusively for Xbox in that case.

hmm could also be interpreted that live service games like elder scrolls online will release on ps5. but lets see.

That's like saying Halo will be on Playstation because it will obviously make a s*** ton of money. I can see them releasing on Switch but not on Playstation. Xbox, Switch and PC is enough and it will definitely make people buy the Xbox Series and gamepass.

I don't see these games releasing on Playstation anymore.

they just paid more than star wars cost to get them, as soon as i saw 7.5 billy i knew what was up, they just can’t come out and say it all the way yet because they have to walk back all those exclusives are anti consumer comments they made

Was thinking this OR after elder scrolls 6 games will become Xbox exclusives. Both make sense and are fair. Even timed exclusives for a year or longer make a lot of sense tbh

It would make sense for them financially, they seem to be going all in on Game Pass so I could see it going both ways. Either they release them exclusively so that more people purchase an Xbox or they still end up releasing them on PS5 with the hope that people would still choose Game Pass over paying $70. Either way they would profit.

Definitely the gamepass exclusive way is the smarter way to go. For 25/month you get Series S, all theses games plus all day one Xbox exclusives or for 35/month you get Series X blah blah. One of the best gaming deals I've ever seen

this is exciting though. game pass going to be dope, and i feel like it will put Bethesda on a much more rigid game schedule with the added resources and a bit of pressure from MSFT to deliver on titles.

We speaking like we 100% know what Microsoft is going to do . Even if every other game is exclusive besides elder scrolls and fallout . Microsoft still gives console incentive( if you don’t care for PC gaming) with playing all of those on game pass

Microsoft spend 7 billion on this deal so they want return on investment. If you look at games that sell on all platforms they often sell many many millions more copies than the console exclusives. Sony or Xbox.
