i just think its a s***ty thing to do to go back on already announced plans. It makes sense if every future game they make is only on xbox, but sony has never forced a game already in development to switch over as far as i know at least not like this.

Respect that which game are they switching over?? I saw initially that the games currently exclusive for PS5 will remain exclusive, but if they switched up on that statement then that’s mad f***ed up

It’s all up in the air, I’ve seen both been said. If I came off complainy I think it’s just cause I’m frustrated knowing imma get a ps5 and not be able to play one of my most anticipated games

In all honesty tho I can’t be mad if all their future games are Xbox exclusives, or if all but their big 3 IPs are, or if they’re timed exclusives. The only thing I really can do is use my money to show my support and if starfield really is a Xbox x exclusive I can just simply not buy it and not support what to me is kind of a shady move. But either way great on Xbox for this deal

If I were locked in on a console to get I’d be pretty annoyed too bro, this is the kinda s*** that I’d need to know way before I bought whichever system. man I f***ing hope they make a New Vegas 2 soon... not replacing Outer Worlds II tho. Now I’m wondering if Xbox could pull some crazy s*** like requesting Bethesda to assist on Outer Worlds as well. I’d love for both companies to bring their strongest aspects to their games’ developments unrealistic but nevertheless a fun idea

I don’t mind exclusivity at all tbh, I think it creates a competitive advantage. But I don’t really agree w already announced games for every platform suddenly becoming exclusives halfway through development.

Like FF16 a great example it got announced as a ps4 exclusive or like halo and gears are obvious exclusives so it makes sense

Doubt games like elder scrolls, doom, fallout, etc will become Xbox/pc exclusives. Microsoft would only be shooting themselves in the foot not letting their studios rake in more money with a ps port, and optics of switching up exclusivity of existing IP’s would be very bad for them.

Exclusive titles probably won’t appear til 2 or 3 years down the line when new IP’s are announced
