unbelievable
I don’t even want to see trashvis name near the GOAT !
Thread reminds me of that other thread about beat switches
When I was in my 90s bag I used to like the last part, Jeru went crazy
3 rappers on 3 different beats
Beatnuts did it when they had 3 members too
Return of the Loop Digga is a personal favorite
Love the transition between the first and second beat. All the breaks/samples playing while he’s talking to the nigga at the record shop. Cool outro beat too
WRONG
They're literally three separate songs pasted together in the case of both tracks

Completely wrong lol but even if it were true, you could say the same about Band On The Run, it doesn’t make it lazy if it’s executed right when combining the ideas
But I guess the fact that all 3 beats on the Mos song have samples that say “Brooklyn” in them and/or hugely important Brooklyn records doesn’t make it clear enough that it’s one connected thematic piece with multiple phases let alone the fact all the lyrics are on the same topic, to suggest those are “3 different songs” is ignorant and lazy. Very different from Sicko Mode era multi phase songs

Is there a time you did not like it but felt it was done right?
