No because you are pretending to be black on the internet and it’s really obvious lmao
You don’t have to pretend, I’m not black either, it’s fine :)

Yeah, but the effects of it are still being felt today.

Why do you think the 'hood' has so many black people and the suburbs has so many white people?

The funding of public schools is based on how many rich people live in the local community lmao. What majority race tends to have the highest income on average?

Yes, people can go get jobs. Yes, you can work. But every job isn't suitable for every person. Hard to keep your spirits up when you're barely getting by at a job you hate. How are you supposed to work up from that? Not to mention the toll said jobs take on your mental. The mental strain of feeling like you're only worth minimum wage with no kind of expectation of a new avenue because you have bills to pay and a mouth or 2 to feed.

Then keep in mind no 2 people are the same, so what one person may perceive as not a big deal, another may perceive as something that absolutely can't be done.

I see why things are the way they are. If you don't fall in line with the status quo to a certain degree, you sink very fast. Some people will reemerge and adapt, others will try and find shortcuts and may even outright turn to evil for their piece of the pie.

That’s what makes this entire thing funny. Tired of people like this trying to play victim in situations they create

Mass discrimination = Lack of Funding for areas with high numbers of minorities

Which has a trickle down effect not only on the community but the people in those communities as well

“ The updated, social media version assumes a position of privilege and performatively demands an “examination” or a “calling out” of anti-blackness in “our community” without much explanation of what any of those phrases mean. And while there’s an affirmative command to go out and do something, the tone has always felt defensive, at least to me. The concern isn’t so much to come out and confront anti-blackness “in our community,” but rather to disassociate oneself from the racist in the video. He may look like me, but I am not him. ‘Real Asian-Americans’ reject him. Don’t let any of his racism splash on me...

Professional Asian Americans almost never reach out to populations like the Hmongs, except in the most cursory, box-checking ways. There is no “examination of our communities” because we — the wealthy East Asians — never really considered them part of our communities anyway.

Tou Thao should be condemned for being a killer cop who stood by and watched Derrick Chauvin murder George Floyd. But “Asian Americans” should ask themselves this question: When you say, “our” and “we,” who, exactly, are you talking to? And if you put it in a tweet (it’s always in a tweet), who, exactly, are you hoping faves that tweet?“

    timetosaygoodbyepod.substack.com/p/tou-thao-and-the-myths-of-asian-american

not saying all Asians talking about solidarity/that’s not me/we need to do better is virtue signaling/doing it for likes/retweets but a lot of it comes off that way.

I just hope y’all heart is in the right place when you make those tweets/posts and it’s not just to make yourself look better.

Either way keep posting/spreading that message cause it’s still a good message to spread but if it really is affecting you that much maybe do more than just tweet some s*** like “that’s not me I’m better than that”.

it’s clear the auto zone looting was accelerated by 6 white dudes

these antifi f***s have been at every march or protest for the last 4 years and will find any reason to side with minorities in order to push their s***

this was a perfect opportunity for them to start fires, s*** I don’t believe niggas would do themselves based off of Ferguson. They are really like that white friend that goes too od and depending on your mood you might rock with him. In a time of vulnerability, I can see them taking advantage of this moment
