I thought the way implosion works is that it starts from inside the submarine
So wouldn’t they have slowly lost ability to breathe before their insides implode?
Thats the ocean, they were probably at the titanic already, also deep down and everything goes so fast that they died instantly
We just don‘t know if it imploded instantly after the communication was lost (it‘s normal that the submarine loses communication sometimes, also happened before) or if they went through pain inside the submarine for hours or even days until it imploded
for travellers out there, a sub tour of the titanic wreck seems to be the ultimate tourist trap

He doesn't die on tape, what happens is he ascents at too fast of a rate. It causes a reaction where you enter a drunken state (if you're even still functional).
@Hbgy_ Right above.

Another fact is that you don't even realize what is up and down if you are diving low enough. That's why you have to watch which way your bubbles go and look at your meter that says how low you are. Often times divers will be swimming sideways or downwards and actually think they are going up.

Didn't know that either, that's terrifying. You really have no idea what's going on underwater.

"and 'Sub Tour of the Titanic Wreck' was ranked last. What an awful name for a tour, it reminds me of that tragedy."

Your ear loses the ability to keep balance and if it's too dark you can't use the light shining from the surface as a visual frame of reference either.
Similar things happen in the air, which is why Kobe Bryant's pilot presumably crashed that helicopter. He thought he was going up but he was actually going down.
I recommend watching this 2-minute video: "You have 178 seconds to live". It talks about how our sense of balance is totally off in the air and how pilots will crash sooner or later if they do not pay attention to their altitude meters:

Extremely chilling video tbh
I was wondering what happened to this f***er
RIP to them. Sadly this was the best case scenario, I hope they went peacefully.
dying instantly in the implosion is awful but it’s not as bad as it would have been to be trapped at the bottom slowly freezing and losing oxygen
Yea they died literally instantly. Too fast for pain to even be felt probably. It’s infinitely better than suffocating
Are you serious? They need to find what caused it, if it imploded instantly after 1 hour and 45 minutes or later etc. They need to find out everything.
They also need to do this for the families who are grieving. I would want to know what exactly happened if that happened to one of my family members.
Lmao @ thinking this piece of junk had a black box or data recorder on it
i still can’t believe they packed 5 niggas into this tiny ass submarine

..first time i was tossed.
like bro you can sit at a wall and put your legs out and nearly touch the other one roughly lmao
essentially no space
