This is legit one of the worst ways to go sadly
dying instantly in the implosion is awful but it’s not as bad as it would have been to be trapped at the bottom slowly freezing and losing oxygen

They prolly didn't know what hit em. I feel sorry for the kid being brought along but not the adults who should have known better
It definitely matters for them lol
how does it matter for them, they're dead

It can help to a***yze what went wrong so others don't repeat those mistakes. Same as with plane crash investigations. Furthermore, it might have some legal consequences since lawsuits of the bereaved are incoming.

Are you serious? They need to find what caused it, if it imploded instantly after 1 hour and 45 minutes or later etc. They need to find out everything.
They also need to do this for the families who are grieving. I would want to know what exactly happened if that happened to one of my family members.
Only dude here I feel sad for
Yep because he probably just did that because his father asked him to go with him. No way he would‘ve did that alone

RIP lil homie...

I thought the way implosion works is that it starts from inside the submarine
So wouldn’t they have slowly lost ability to breathe before their insides implode?

i dont think anyone is really at risk of repeating some of these mistakes...
rip to everyone on board that is the most twisted way to go out man
Have you ever seen that video of the divers POV of them dying? It's easily one of the hardest videos to watch. You don't see their body but it shows you the struggle of them trying to resurface. F***ing horrible.

Deep-sea exploration exists and will just grow.

there is so much pressure down there where if there is even a minuscule fault in the hull the whole thing is getting crushed like a soda can. this usually happens so fast your brain wouldn't even be able to respond

@garetare Mayo Hoagies?

nope, that just sounds like a culmination of some of my biggest fears so i'm good on that

The immense pressure and weight of the water in those depths would have crushed everyone inside instantly once the hull breaks. They probably had no time to even understand what was happening and the death couldn't be comprehended on a physical basis. Basically got crushed to death
