This is a breakthrough because the moderna vaccine requires -20 Celsius storage for transportation and can be stored for six months, unlike the BioNTech one. This makes it much easier for transportation around the world.

The only problem is that Moderna has no agreement with Covax, so the initial doses will be limited to the US, Canada, Japan and Qatar apparently
