Honestly, I can hardly watch movies/shows that have a mainly white cast or a white main character unless the plot is VERY interesting to me

So I definitely ain't watching no white savior movies

One of my favourite films is Lawrence of Arabia and I love how it plays with the white saviour trope by having the main character think he is the white saviour and how his hubris gets utterly demolished by reality.

It's still racist though which is really unfortunate.
