I do think a good amount of people with todays mindset would do basic stuff out their "own heart", but for more advance stuff i dont think that will happen.

Then you would have to get into the field of what about those that just plainly dont do anything, even if theyre the minority. It will create tension again between the workers & non-workers, if we can take things away from the non-workers that are used to live, but then its the same thing again.

i think humans are naturally inclined to perform work, even if it may be hard work. This is especially true if it’s work within a community. The thing is that they have to be fairly compensated and the fruits of their labor must be appreciated, which is something that doesn’t exist now and it’s a reason why there’s such an aversion to performing labor

Where is the line between the proletariat and the state
I understand communism is a stateless society but wouldnt the proletariat who controls the means of production act as the state?

correct, the proletariat would have to preserve the state (military and authority is what much of the state is) as it competes with competing ideologies that have their own states (capitalist, monarchist, fascist). This is not out of reverence or appreciation for the state, but because not defending the workers’ state would lead to coups or invasions or whatever

It would have to take either some sort of actually genuine mediation (which is doubtful in itself) or an effectively worldwide hegemony of the workers’ state for the motion of state abolishment to be an effective path to take in regards to preserving socialism and beginning communism

it’s probably my biggest qualm with left wing thought as a whole because it means adopting rigidity and long term goals, two things humanity hasn’t collectively pursued in millennia, if ever
