And spend all my time in threads of someone i dislike like you? Hope not bro
This is a Moneybagg Yo thread. Love him.
You right as hell my boy
I kinda want s*** to go back where people can go back to eating off an album and promo-ing it for 2-3 years but i know thats never coming back
Tbh it was totally inevitable after southern artists laid down the blueprint in 00s - dropping hella mixtapes, joint projects, etc every year. Ones like Gucci, Wayne, Houston dudes like the whole Swishahouse clique. It probably can even be traced to No Limit Records golden years when they also used to drop a lot of stuff and it also did well commercially but a lot of it is somewhat forgettable if we’re being real
To be completely fair s*** didn’t even change much except now there’s barely a line between album and mixtape in terms of public perception - everything is just another release on streaming platform and it just makes consuming of material easier. Most of the s*** artists are dropping now is nothing more than mixtapes but because of internet era they’re getting almost the same treatment as albums
This lockdown is actually affecting Drake in a way
I feel like if everything was normal, his album would've been out by now
Its affectign everybody Kendrick's album rollout shouldve been started by now
This thread is a big indicator of the users who do and don't go outside

Staying inside gang
I feel like it being a Khaled record have nothing to do with it tbh. Drake name is attached to it and if you’re a fan you know about the song. It just seem like people aren’t rocking with it.
That Yachty record flopped and drake was on it lol

And people weren’t messing with it, the video didn’t help it either. Khaled and Drake had records in the past that popped off so you can’t say a song isn’t doing well because it’s a Khaled song. The public just don’t care for it too much.
