Yeah a lot of North Africans are like this tbh. My boys from there are ALWAYS looking for an excuse to use the N word when they straight up look brown, not black.

Some of them have fros & look like Drake, they obviously say it. But some of them look like French Montana, and they say it too

Theres no borders in africa

Black sub saharan africans been mixing with them for thousands of years, there are whole ass countries like sudan, niger, egypt, morocco where that mix is evident

Obviously if she was like tunisian or some s*** then that’s different those North africans are basically white but moroccans do have nlack ancestry

I definitely get your point. I don’t know if you’re black or not but if you aren’t what you have to understand is just because you have ancestry doesn’t mean you are black. I probably have white ancestors (for reasons) but that doesn’t make me white (not tryna be antagonistic at all just informative)

Im not saying moroccans are black but i live in city w lot of north africans and ive seen the diversity first hand

Some of them look straight up black to lightskin to slightly black to brown and in between

I dnt want to claim them just because they have SOME black genes. Like you said lotta black people have white genes

I do it on a case by case basis. Ik a moroccan dude who’s black enough where he claims it and i treat him as such. another moroccan girl i work with i talk about hair with because she has afro textured hair but looks white, I wouldn’t consider her black and i dnt think she claims that either so I leave it up to the person

But like if this girl wants to claim that its not my place to stop her it’s not like she’s swedish and someone noticeably black is probably in her fam anyway like the white moroccan girl ik from work she was telling me how uncle wears a durag so the point is they’re all super mixed up and come in diff shades

The only countries you’ll find north africans in large numbers lmaoo but you right, libyans and tunisians rarely if ever have any black ancestry

It gets even easier if you break it down as: If you are not the descendant of a formally enslaved black individual who is apart of the African diaspora, then you have no business saying nlgger or nigga. People just choose to ignore, intentionally misconstrue, or argue this concept.
