They wanna be us until it's time to be us.
Everybody wants to be a nigga but..
my man appreciate it ..
that cleared a lot up actually .. so many ppl just think africa and think black
yes when people talk about africa they think about bantu people, but when they see other people like Xhosa, or Somali, or Habesha, or Berber...
You must be canadian or french if you know that
The only countries you’ll find north africans in large numbers lmaoo but you right, libyans and tunisians rarely if ever have any black ancestry
That’s not true about Libyans but it all depends on what area
The person in the OP doesn’t like white at all to me just a typical Berber but people have different ideologies of white I guess

She's not Black but that don't make her white either.
I don't understand why people not Black want to use the word. There's no fundamental difference between nigga and n!gger. The reason it ends in -a instead of -er is because of AAVE and the tendency to drop the -er or words. There's a reason DaBaby isn't "The Baby", etc,. You're just saying a slur. Very weird for nonblack people to wanna use it.

Tbf she is undeniably at least (partially) black, so I don’t think people would look at her in particular sideways for it

Having thick curly hair doesn't make someone Black.
And we can assume all day what her possible ancestry is all day but that'd be blood quantam so...

No but that specific type of hair is linked to sub Saharan ancestry
It’s pretty easy to know what people are nowadays with genetic testing samples of certain ethnic groups she’s probably a Berber with a higher than average sub Saharan or in Morocco they call it haratin ancestry
I have white and non-sub saharan African ancestry so am I not Black
No you are just a typical African American which basically they all have decent amounts of European but that amount they have usually doesn’t affect phenotype
They wanna be us until it's time to be us.

I knew this edgy white guy in high school who would play Dishonored on a gaming laptop during lunch and one day he revealed that he was from South Africa and spent the rest of math class that day greeting people with the N word with a hard R
Me and other Egyptians always got a heated discussion about whether we are allowed to use that term or not while we’re reciting songs, what do you think?
Their point of view is that most Egyptians were once slaves during the pharaonic era and North Africans so it makes more sense than someone like Tekashi 6ix9ine being allowed to say it
I just avoid using the n word to keep my peace of mind really, I find it unnecessary lmao

A lot of north africans I have met (moroccan, egyptian) do not claim their african ancestry and opt for their middle eastern heritage. To me that plays a part in the “politics” of the word
