What's the first mk game you played?

When it comes to fighting games I played some Budokai, MVC 3, MK9, Street Fighter IV. Tekken 3 or so young and probably watched or lightly played MK at a friends. Never was in a rush to get it myself.

as a gamer kid i was huge on GTA San Andreas, Splinter Cell, Freedom Fighters, Halo 2. Like years were so stacked with single player games and had so much free time and lack of responsibilities. MK never fully drew me in to the point of buying one myself that I can think of until MK9

the earliest one I remember playing was deadly alliance. I rented that b**** in blockbuster I owned every MK game after that

Being now involved with it I wish I knew or understood all of the story. I may now watch a story video to fully understand . Excited for y'all to see it and play it

but i was so let down by MK11 that i’m not sure i’ll get the new one yet. i’ll need to see more gameplay or preferably play a demo before i decide to buy it

The voice over and cgi in the new trailer definitely brought me back to these days. The amount of nostalgia those ps2/xbox era MK games evoke is so special

any time the new games show any minimal acknowledgment to those games I get hype asf
