My wish would be to start before the first tournament of MK1. Have Edenia still be its own realm, Onaga be the king of outworld, Shao Kahn his general, maybe have King Jerrod still be alive, retcon Mileena into not being a half-Tarkatan, leave out modern age characters like Johnny and Sonya, rework some characters into the old age like a (non-cyber) Frost, have Bi-Han instead of Kuai Lei as Sub-Zero....go full prequel and show us how Shao Kahn rose to be king of Outworld, how King Jerrod died, how Great Kung Lao fared in the tournmanent

Happy for those who can watch it live though! Very interested to see what direction they are going with regarding variations/meter system, that means more to me than anything. Tanya, Kenshi, or Reptile coming back would be golden for me, but i really need them to fix the mistakes from 11.

I really hope this one also respects each characters signature moves/abilities.

Rain coming back in 11 after so much fan demand just to butcher his moveset was a tragedy. Mix matching Variations are a fun idea, but it’s been proven over and over that it doesn’t work for the core of the game.
