The Ecstatic is my favorite hip hop record but no one gives a f*** what this guy has to say in 2022. On a side note, my parents live a few houses down from Mannie Fresh in a middle class neighborhood. Went to stay with them during the pandemic and saw him on a bike a few times, shouted at him to finally drop his mos def collab album and he laughed at me every time

their issue is that fantano and all these dudes today rush to judgment way too fast. you often gotta sit with music a minute and let it cook which of course doesn't line up with getting clicks. if you actually listen to them speak here i don't see how you can say they're wrong. people in a race to call records trash on twitter at 12:01am Friday is bad for music imo
