their issue is that fantano and all these dudes today rush to judgment way too fast. you often gotta sit with music a minute and let it cook which of course doesn't line up with getting clicks. if you actually listen to them speak here i don't see how you can say they're wrong. people in a race to call records trash on twitter at 12:01am Friday is bad for music imo
also fantano in particular gets things wrong CONSTANTLY and it hurts his credibility honesty. he deserves to get called out for this
You're right I didn't. Ok that I can agree with. People do need to take more time with albums before putting out reviews but for what I can gather, fantano seems to take his time. It be days sometimes a week or two before a album review come out.
But it may just depend on how big the album is idk.

Niggas can't handle opinions and criticism. That's weak. Sensitive egos. You put stuff out to the public you're opening it up to criticism. If that bothers you don't put out any form of art.
Niggas are allowed to have different opinions. It's rare for me to agree with Fantano but I still respect him.

Every artist is sensitive about his/her craft. As rich as hov is , I know he still watches interviews about what people think of him. They act like they don’t care but they always peep a lil sum.
I feel where you’re coming from but I can’t fault an artist for defending their work. No matter how seasoned. You clap, expect a clap back. Whether the critic deserves the attention or not is up to the artist. Now if mos def was crying every year about some s***, then hell yeah he has to let it slide but every once in a while I’m not mad at him

It’s that simple. Stop posting his videos, whether he rates your favorite artist high or not, just f***ing stop. Same for other reviewers. Just stop
The noise will still keep going because of Fantano and his army of viewers and listeners. Not because Mos spoke out.
I'm all for artists protecting their narratives around their art and the craft of rap.

He isnt going to stop existing when Rappers stop mentioning him. Fantano is a mainstay critic for hip hop so IDK why people are under the impression that you are lowering yourself by responding.
