But it's not an intro! Haha if it's meant to be listened to in full each time. I think one of those interludes would've worked well right before Two Dogs. The transition from Polly to Two Dogs is quick.
lol u right the transition caught me off guard that's why, will see how it goes with more listens

is there any concept to this album im missing?
obviously have a lot of deep diving to do with the material to get the full scope of it, but in short the album centers around multiplicity, and the in-between. the title, the subject matter of the songs, the interludes, all tie together pretty wonderfully to show the "græ" area of human existence, and how Moses fully embraces it. not in an effort to be "different" or stand out, but to be true to himself and his reality.
if anyone else wants to cut in on that, please do. but the real joy in getting an album like this is really digging in and trying to piece it together on your own, and what it means and relates to you. In a recent interview Moses says: “People don’t listen as attentively nor as intently as they used to, as I would like them to,” he says. “I make the kind of music that requires a lot of attention and rewards multiple listens.” And I agree.
Happy listening :

Yes in short, the album centers around the grey area of the human existence which is very relevant right now because on social media and in politics things are either black or white. We can also interpret part1 as “black” and part2 as “white”, put the two together, you have “grey”.
People don’t realize that there are many grey areas. And at the end of the day, our multiplicity is what makes unique, gives us layers and makes us feel like we are isolated in our own island because we all live different experiences. Moses shares some of his too to bring the point home. And the interludes are all different people sharing their own experiences.
But I haven’t really thought about this much. So others are welcome to add to this
Colouour is a contender for soty
Ridiculously good album
definitely the most underrated song. that opening section of horns in the first minute is pure ecstasy.
