Hate it or love it, y’all can’t disagree the longevity GKMC has had. It’s wasn’t a mega hit when it came out and has sustained and survived the rest of time. The content also isn’t for the masses. It’s moving 500k plus units a year more than a decade later. It’s an anomaly.

Yep and every album over a decade old on here. AEOM, Take Care, etc.
The albums from before streaming are the most impressive imo
X was on a trajectory to be the biggest rapper in the world
If he didn’t die he would not be in the top 20 let’s face it
Nah he would’ve been cancelled over his antics
Rip to the young goat tho
His antics happened real time with his popularity?
Uzi won

A lot of artists have died since X and not seen the same kind of numbers X has. His death is not the only explanation for his numbers

Like who? X was already very mainstream when he died, only others that felt similar were Juice and Pop Smoke (although he was not nearly as big) and those went also up crazy in popularity. It also helps that X always made music about dying so his death only boosted that image.
Didn’t even care much for X but after ? came out I kinda assumed he was going to be the biggest rap artist at some point in the near future
Do you guys think Views or Scorpion is bigger?
i think scorpion was bigger imo. Both huge though. Both Top 5 biggest rap of 2010s.
I know nicki sick looking at cardi ahead of her on this list
You do know 8x platinum album Tha Carter 3 also isn't on this list and its better than every album up there. This is just streams...

I think Juice, Pop Smoke, and X were all poised to be huge stars at the time of their deaths. Their deaths did make their existing music bigger than it was, but I think they were bound to get bigger regardless of their death. Maybe not as big as they ended up becoming, but they would have been major players in the game.
As far as who else has died - Takeoff, PNB Rock, Mac Miller, Lil Keed, King Von, Nipsey Hussle, Fredo Santana, Lil Peep, the list goes on.
I don’t disagree with you that the people whose music focuses so much on death like X and Juice will see a bigger boom from their music btw. Just don’t think that their potential should be discounted because they were clearly on their way up prior to dying
They thought we wouldn’t notice when they slid Tyga in at #50
A big album released in the streaming era is out streaming an album that wasn’t? No way
these niggas on here have no critical thinking ability whatsoever

yes, but part of nicki's image is being number one/queen/untouchable/better than the other b****es(cardi)
I love nickis music but we know this will have her steaming
