Bergman book sounds awesome. What's in it and how "official" is it?

i've restrained myself from thumbing through it too much since I wanna read it along with the rewatches, but it's as official as it gets. it's all of his unpublished notes (the ones that were found at least)
everything about his films in his autobiography was sourced from these notes
he himself wanted to publish this, but it only happened about 2 years ago during his 100th. mostly contains notes during the writing and creative process and character a***ysis
i'm sure the big book in the criterion set also has translated excerpts.
there's another one for ´75 and onwards and one for all the unfinished or unrealized projects. probably gonna grab that one too

Sounds dope and if it all went through the right channels and is his work then it's great.
good choice on not flicking through it I think
are the notes scans or are they typed. out/edited?

luckily it's transcribed because his handwriting is funky. although that'd be cool as f***
example of his writing
on the inside of the front and back cover there's scans of the original typewriter script of persona and seventh seal with handwritten notes and drawings around. it has some notes/comments added by the editor to explain certain things but sparse. nothing is edited out according to the publisher
