Frats offer opportunity and relationships that wouldn’t regularly be available to normal individuals the charity work and volunteering they do also look great on a resume. (Not a frat member but I got plenty of friends that were in and are in frats). Plus easy to find drinking/study friends.

you can get all that by joining a club which cost less/sometimes even free + no weird sus brotherhood bs or hazing + making friends in the dorms is so f***ing easy
