New kids are provided some of the most low effort disposable garbage framed as "content", thus their tastes kinda suck because this is literally all they're exposed to.

There aren't any big cartoons, tween shows, etc out anymore. Some Youtube content is good but even most of that is just cheap, low effort slop. The decline been visible for a very long time and now we're kinda at the logical conclusion with just shameless crap that doesn't even try to be anything more than that
