Disappointing from Kendrick after a classic 3 album run and a 5 year wait

Went to the tour and had to force listen thru the album so I can know the songs

how many songs do you actually enjoy from this and play regularly

I like Kendrick but can't say I enjoyed very many of these songs nor is it something I'd play with people around

All 19 p**** and stop being scared of playing music around people, what’s up with y’all. I play this for my girl all the time and her favorite song is Father Time. Y’all niggas just scary

it really is a great album

definitely very heavy but honestly all of his albums are. the more upbeat joints just aren’t as happy go lucky as the upbeat joints on damn so the whole thing feels super dark to people who are into that

the craftsmanship is on the same level as all his albums fr. music isn’t objective imo but i do think this album is obviously great. pretty musically, story telling wise etc. i think he just didn’t put smash hits on there. but it checks literally every other box his other albums check off.

Overall the album is just not it for me. Everytime I run through the album, like half the songs getting skipped. Just a disappointment compared to S80, GKMC, TPAB and even DAMN which also isn't as good as people make it out to be imo

I respect the album and what he did on it. Something so personal was always gonna be divisive, but all the greats need at least one divisive album

Mrs. Morale And The Mid Steppers is one of the worst albums of all time, I’m feeling that for sure

We good over here appreciation of art and deep conversations centered around the themes of the album. Hope you find yours one day if you don’t have that

A lot of folk weren't mature enough or too stuck on Twitter narratives to fully appreciate this classic. You see the immaturity in some of these posts itt so it's not really worth anyone's time debating with these people.
