under chavez venezuelas gdp collapsed by over 70% and millions of people fled the country, since the chavez regime venezeula has defaulted on literally ALL of their countries debts and lost access to international credit lines so im not sure what the comparison to argentina is 70% of the country lives in extreme poverty since chavez
It’s not about Chavez. You’re romanticizing this scenario where Venezuela manages to fix all its problems because the oil goes one way instead of another. It’s just perpetuating a cycle where others benefit from a country where millions of lives rely on a volatile market. Venezuela needs an actual foundation to build upon and that won’t come from a bunch of fairies whisking away a dictator in the middle of the night.
