ok. thanks. this makes sense. my point still stands that most people's entire support of Palestine (that I see online) is that one side is strong and the other side is weak. that's not really a sensible reason to support a side in a conflict

you’re completely ignoring that the Palestinians were already living there, then the Israelis came in with the literal sole purpose of removing them from their homes by force & killing them if they refused

what or who gives them the right to do that? if people from Canada suddenly came to Buffalo and started taking people from their homes and bombing them, there would be a violent response from America. Why are so many people condemning the Palestinians? Serious question, not trolling. Everything I read seems to say something else, completely different from the last thing I read

and yes black women face all sorts of discrimination and sexism. and black men, too. but turning everything to being on the side of who is "most oppressed" requires trying to measure and compete over who is most oppressed. and in lots of cases there's no clear cut winner / loser. black men and black women are just one example. black men underperform black women in every economic, incarceration, and health metric
there might be a world where we celebrate the success of black women but instead we have to highlight any sorts of hardships because that is what's valued in a social justice framework, how "oppressed" you are
