All the things you listed are actually complex in the sense that there aren’t a ton of easy answers for them. You can’t just flip a switch and end things like income inequality or police brutality. There isn’t some singular policy that can easily fix those. Unlike letting women vote, letting black people vote, and letting gay people get married

For example, countries have increased taxes on the rich to solve income inequality and then the rich just leave the country and take their businesses with them, then the country ends up lowering taxes and begging the rich to return. People have increased minimum wages and then businesses have just replaced cashiers with automated checkouts or cut people’s hours
