Valid imo. Also I don't think anyone is virtue signalling here, I think it's genuine compassion for the horrific scenes we always see in Gaza.

Call it whataboutery but I'm always confused why we never saw these scenes when Americans, Brits and others flattened Raqqa, Mosul etc and killed tens of thousands of civilians just a few years ago when trying to defeat ISIS. No press, no reports, no sympathy, just silence. And only 10 years after America previously killed tens of thousands of Iraqi civilians in the same area for no reason. But that's a whole other story.
