i also think anxiety is really messed up bc after a while youll have anxiety of having anxiety, like youll be scared of waking up with anxiety which is why youll wake up

I wake up every 1-2 hours with my heart racing; I always have to have snacks (cashew nuts, sweets etc) around me at night to help me to calm down after an awful anxiety attack. I always feel like I have no energy whenever I wake up.

Yeah, I am diagnosed with severe anxiety (and severe depression); I also recently had a nervous breakdown - which led me to doing absolutely nothing for weeks (outside of leaving the house to get food)

Nah just doing mindless activities like watching videos dont do s***. They just surpress it for the time being but dont train you to be in better shape. You gotta do something that requires your focus. anything that Practices mindfulness. i’ve found a lot of it thru mma and basketball

How is that any different? Games require you're focus it's not just a mindless activity. It's something to help you cope and make you're day easier if the issue is 100% something you your self have control over which is what it seems to be with op.
I'm speaking from experience it has 100% helped me. Sports are literally no different, they're just a refraction from what ever the issue is to keep your mind occupied on something else. So saying they don't do s*** is just not true.
And saying it doesn't train your mind or calling them mindless activities is hogwash; Just because something is not a physical activity doesn't mean it does more for you, and just because you're in better physical strength, doesn't mean your min is stronger.
Any medium, whether the consumption of it like watching a show, video, playing a game, or creating like music, painting, etc. are both valuable tools for our minds. You're constantly absorbing knowledge through all these means, and to call them a mindless activity, maybe means you're just not paying attention to anything and is ignorant.
Keep in mind just because something doesn't work for you doesn't mean it will not work for someone else, else that thing can adversely harmful and requires extreme caution like medication. Like I said, I gave advice that has 100% helped me in my situation. Every person and case is diff.
Read. Find a book relating to this struggle - you stimulate your mind on something other than your anxiety, you feel reassured and you relax. I recommend “No Mud No Lotus”
well in the day i have zero problems i dont really feel anxious, but when I go to bed i wake up 30 mins later with a f***load off anxiety. I went to bed at like 2 am, and woke up 40 minutes later feeling really f***ed up. I couldnt take a deep breath, and my breathing becomes wack and i breath too fast. and my stomach was kinda hurting. I also had a sugar rush, so i went and ate some bomb ass cookies, and my energy was really low. I fell asleep 4 hours later, at like 6 am lol.
Anyways this been happening on the regular, i aint not b**** i dont really have it hard like that, but its kinda f***ing up my sleep
