The BLM organization has been 'compromised' in the sense that it is now supported by the democratic establisment which endorses incremental change that doesn't fundamentally change the system and supports reforms that most neo-liberals can get behind.

Anybody can say "Black Lives Matter" or wear clothing that says the phrase. And the right is effective at lumping any individual who protest or says the phrase as part of the official organization or even endorses their values, which isn't true.

When people talk about BLM, they need to distinguish the organization from a movement that emphasizes the oppression of black lives.

I was more pointing at the looting/antifa s*** that takes place during blm protests which of course isnt blm's official policies, but takes place during their watch. you see my point right? blm should get more control over how people behave in there protests, weed out the opportunists. that's what I mean, they get hijacked

First off, many of these rallies aren't even organized by the official BLM organization. Any organization can hold a BLM rally. It's a phrase that anybody can utilize. Just because it's a "BLM" rally..doesn't mean BLM organized it.

Second, I also think it's ridiculous to have an open rally where anybody that can attend and expect organizers to "control" thousands of individuals. That's just ridiculous unless you have your own security or have limited access to members only.

What you actually mean is the media hijacked the narrative. There have been more peaceful protest than looting.
