So my barber was out of town and I decided to get a fresh cut at a new shop. I found a nice deal for 25 and went for a cut. A few days later my scalp was flakey and I thought it was a bad case of dandruff. It became worse of the next couple days and I had to see a doctor. Doctor gave me shampoo and it did nothing after 30 days. I was put on oral medication and it's still the same after 2 months. I just want my scalp normal, and never knew this was a thing from a bad haircut. Horrible. I'm still taking the oral medication, but is there a home remedy to speed up the recovery. It's been hard to get a haircut this entire time too. smh
You’re supposed to go to a dermatologist for s*** like this. I had a case of ringworm so bad as a kid that it left permanent scars on my scalp thinking cream and antibiotics would do the trick

that is what you get when you cheap out and get a 25 cut
I remember seeing ring worm a lot more as a kid
Would be a few kids around when I was in elementary school who’d have it on their heads or something and I thought it was gross as f***
@op how bad were the flakes/itching?
I got a ringworm on my scalp in elementary school and that's turned into a big irrational fear of mine ever since.
I'm asking because I deal with dandruff and got a cut three weeks ago and I don't want to become paranoid after reading your post 😭

Was the damage so extensive because you went a long time without treating it properly?
Sorry to hear you had to deal with that and hope there was no lasting damage besides the scars
This where op got his cut
i wonder if barber shop is a popular setting for gay p***
Obviously you can't sue, you have no proof or evidence that the cause of the ringworm was from the barber
It'd just be arguing he said/she said, you'd just be wasting your money and time
