    I got a ringworm on my scalp in elementary school and that's turned into a big irrational fear of mine ever since.

    I'm asking because I deal with dandruff and got a cut three weeks ago and I don't want to become paranoid after reading your post 😭

    I go back to the doctor next week. It's still bad flaking if I itch it. I just leave it alone. Lucky I have long hair so people cant tell my secret. But I know. It use to hurt to take a shower, the water would make it burn. It would burn and be itchy but not as a much now. Maybe that's a sign of improvement. But it's still there. I wish this upon no one.

    so my Barber did me dirty. I considered him a friend too. I asked if he was free for a cut. He ignored my text. He cut my hair last time, and I warned him about my condition and he said it was no big deal. He would still take care of me. Now he ignores my text. My hair is getting wild now. I dont know how to get a cut, but I need one. I still have ring worm. Do I go to a random barber? but the barber will find out my secret. But I need a haircut for work . I'm in a tough spot

    Was the damage so extensive because you went a long time without treating it properly?

    Sorry to hear you had to deal with that and hope there was no lasting damage besides the scars

    that might have played a part. I DIDNT KNOW I had it. I thought I had dandruff for a few weeks. I didn't see a DR until close to the 3rd week of noticing flaking

    I remember seeing ring worm a lot more as a kid

    Would be a few kids around when I was in elementary school who’d have it on their heads or something and I thought it was gross as f***
