However
1) Suicide rates are still in the same ballpark for physically transitioned people
2) Transitioning can therefore not be the magic bullet its supporters propose it to be
3) Gender dysphoria is a seriously debilitating condition and I feel a way better approach to helping people is making them feel confident in the skin and bones they were gifted with. Confident to express their gender and sexuality in whichever way they see fit.
If it works for people, that’s fine. More power to them. That way of thinking however is toxic. Not accepting you for who you are is poisonous.
Take it from someone who desperately wanted to be white as a teenager, and had certain things not happened, lord knows where i’d be at.

Suicide rate isn’t much different between surgically transitioned and those that aren’t. and you also know a lot of people regret transitioning and want their body back.
statistically It just doesn’t work for most people.
All i’m saying is we should direct people to explore other options heavily and faithfully before promoting to them something permanent that hasn’t been shown to be the cure it’s being propagated to be
