Y’all saying just tell his mom no like it’s that’s easy that’s the whole problem it’s f***ed🤦🏾♂️
It really is. This isn’t survival it’s pure greed, manipulation and stupidity. There’s a reason she has a 480 credit score.

Yeah she’s toxic is what I’m getting at which it’s prolly been like that his whole life I’m assuming but u right in a way
Ok so theoretically speaking, what if my mother deposits money into my account every two weeks and says I work for her. Will this count to the bank as boosting my income?
Or will a bank want a paper trail? I want to tell my mom no but if the bank can do it for me I’ll let them do it.

good god dude.
your mom is being a s***ty parent with this. ur family needs to get an apt thats financially affordable and responsible to buy, while you eventually go to college next year anyway.
if she wants a house, she needs to be the parent/adult and make that happen for herself
It takes $233,610 to raise a child to 18
Think of this as a way of paying back what you owe to her

I’m going to send her a text tonight and just say I don’t feel comfortable as the negative implications outweigh buying a house right now
Making this way more difficult than it needs to be, damn.
I’m going to text her and just send one long text

what shes trying to put on your plate is a bad financial decision that can f*** up your finances for years to come. you're young and going away to college anyway - she should be an adult and live within her means just like you will while you're at college
just because you have a solid credit score doesn't entitle her to just say "i want a house". if she wants a house she can use her credit. but her credit is probably trash, right? thats a sign that she should live within her means and be more financially responsible, not go f*** up her sons credit score
like what the f*** lol

Hate I opened this thread. Minus the good credit I’m in a very similar situation. Landlord is selling the house and don’t know what’s gonna happen but the new person is coming over tomorrow. Also on a month to month
