I already spoke this issue to some people but here we go

So I technically caught the virus on Sun. Oct 3rd at the Zay concert and the symptoms started appearing on Wed. the 6th (coughing, sore throat, etc.). So my roommate told me to quarantine at my parents until I test "Negative". This past Saturday I did the covid test which couple days the results told me that I tested positive. My roommate called me to see how things are going and he said continuously take tests until it comes back Negative, which means Im allowed back in.

Here's the thing, according to CDC you're feel free to continue your normal activities and be around others 10 days after the first sign of symptoms, meaning its not contagious anymore. Even then, they implied that testing positive isn't an accurate indicator of when to end quarantine cuz people still test positive up to 90 days after catching the virus. My 10-day mark is this Saturday basically.

I took another test today which came back as positive and the doctors told me I might not test negative up to 90 days because of dead cells which results in false positives. I talked to my landlord today and he doesn't buy into the CDC thing, which he told me I still have to test negative

Its f***ing ridiculous that I got kicked out of my own place that I paid rent for, and he's OVERLY paranoid about catching the virus since we share the same bathroom. Im just pissed that my rent money is going to waste now because god knows when Ill test negative again
