UPDATE:
I went back to my place today and chilled in my room for about 30 minutes, my landlord texted me to stay in room for little bit. 2 of my other roommates stopped by and talked to me
They told me the issue is that people who are planning on coming over throughout next week dont feel comfortable with me around. I tried educating them on CDC guidelines and whatever but they still wanna take extra precautions. One of them planned a brunch today but cancelled it cuz I came over since the friend is too concerned
So they gave me 2 options that will last 7 days (unless I get tested negative):
1. Stay at my place, but wear masks and gloves when leaving my own room. In addition, nobody is allowed to come over since everyone is too paranoid about me being "contagious" (Even though im not most likely)
OR
2. Continue staying at parents
I chose option 2 cuz Ill have more freedom in my room anyway and not have the guilt of disrupting everyone's plan. Ill catch flack for my decision, but I kinda have no choice really. Either way Im getting retested this Monday or Tuesday so fingers crossed it'll be negative

The reason why people are getting on u is because your roomates are dictating the discussion. There should be no "they gave me the option".
Idk how ur roommate dynamic works there and if majority votes wins or something but it seems to me u wanted to stay at ur place and its advised by the cdc not to travel around when quarantined.
But if u feel more comfortable at ur parents crib then its whatever, just make sure ur they know ur not paying rent for the days u weren't there
