-I lost my job directed because of COVId

• my benefits ran out doesn’t let me open a new claim
• impossible to get a hold of California unemployment
• website says I’m get the federal extension automatically until March 15

Anyone else in this spot? There’s no update in my account so I hate to just sit around and do nothing.. will I get the extension? Do I just have to wait? How do you get a hold of California unemployment line? Who got the answers???

Lowkey in this spot but it's whatever. Held onto most of the money I made off that so I'm straight. Plus I'm gonna be working again soon. Pretty much lasted me about as long as it should've.

Yeah also definitely work man. I can't preach from my position but work is more consistent. Get a warehouse job or something anything.

yeah my unemployment balance was at 0 in december , and any claims I filed rn just say exhausted benefits, even though my claim has been extended to March, still no update from the site. but luckily i recently got hired and starting work soon.

look and see if plasma centers hiring, its a easy hire and they hired me.

in ohio i think they are reupping everything in a few weeks like mid january. everything got paused because and was supposed to end but then congress passed the stimulus s*** a few weeks ago

If you can suppose to reopen a claim... idk that s*** is weird. So annoying how you can’t call them either.... usually your benefits run out during your end date for the year

My s*** says I can’t reapply until July... but I ready the stimulus should take effect but system doesn’t show it

here they stopped everything dec 26th because the unemployment numbers went down, when in reality the unemployment rate is gonna rise again because a lot of the seasonal jobs that run to the end of the year are just now ending. so more people out of work.

then congress passed the latest stimulus, and on my site its just saying wait for a few weeks.

There are so many jobs around and niggas crying because unemployment ran out?

i work in hospitality so have not worked since last march on ei now i feel for @op lucky i still have my benefits though
